Everything has been finalized and cut for lumber except height requirements for my windows.
The hinged blind window can be mounted in three 3 different positions 1 flip up and out of the way locking in the up position with the use of the thumb latch 2 flip down and lock down.
You can not go wrong.
One other consideration depending on the type of window might be the actual size of the opening.
I currently am in the middle of building a blind that i hope to have out early this month.
If they are bigger you ll need a window covering.
Every hunter has different needs so it is always best to pick hunting equipment or tactics that work best for your specific style of hunting but a good rule of thumb is about 5 10 feet off the ground.
If they are lower you will have to get a shorter chair.

I made mine a full 12 high and it ended up being higher than necessary which puts a little more light in the blind and puts the sun in my eyes a little more often than if i had made them maybe 10 high.

I am thinking 36 inches is good enough because my blind will be on a hillside above the field edge draw i hunt.
