In 8th edition succeeding on charges was pretty easy as long as you could connect with at least one of your charge targets with the first model you moved you succeeded and could often then use pile ins to reach a bit further to get into some of your other targets.

You still have the 1 can t get too close to enemy models rule in the combat phase so this makes sense with the 1 cannot shoot rule we explored in.

If there isn t room for your charging unit to get within 1 due to other models that are in combat think of that melee as being quagmired and there s no where for your charging unit to go so it fails.

Fuel pipes work just like barricades except that when a unit within 1 of one makes a save of 7 basically gets a save that can only happen with the benefit of cover its owner rolls a d6 and on a 1 the unit takes a mortal wound.

Hey guys i have a few observations questions after playing a few games of 40k 8th edition i play orks btw regarding charge pile in and consolidation movements.
This cannot be a character with less than 10 wounds unless it is the closest model.
Charging if the roll is successful only 1 model must get within 1 of the target unit other models can go toward another unit so long as they stay more than 1 from the non target.
